I had my eye on this Ridges Quilt pattern by Bookends Quilting when it was released, and I made it last year as a baby gift for a friend whose nursery theme included a mountain range mural in shades of green.

- Quilting cottons in various colors from Joann
- Dot minky backing from Joann
Notes:
- The quilt turned out well overall (save for a few places where if you look closely, the points don't match up the best) and I learned how to do half-rectangle triangles for the first time.
- I had the long-arm quilting done at Mad B's Quilt and Sew, and picked out a topography pattern and used bamboo batting.
